I'll just use your list  That's a hell of a start.

I thought about doing a list like this the other day. When I get out of work, I'll make a nice list to get started with.

Welcome to the forum :tp: I see you are local (relatively) to a few of us. We have a member in College Park and a few of us are here in Northern VA.

Holy shit, MustangDriver. I just looked at the pic of the Porsche 944 Turbo, and that is my neighborhood!

Just for verrification, could you tell me which neighborhood that is in? It looks like the street right around the block from my home!

Nah, that's from my neighborhood in Alexandria, VA. It's Ryan Homes community, so there's a good chance you have an identical one up near you.

DOH! Nope, not my neighborhood. My home was actually crapufactured (manufactured) by Beezer Homes. Nice house, but it's got some flaws....like last year the pipes froze (and exploded) because some moron "forgot" to put insulation behind the back wall where the pipes came in under the kitchen cabinet. We had a thermostat we put under the cabinet, and it was 27 degrees under there.

LUCKILY, when the pipes burst, we were right there to shut down the water. The water was probably running for about 30 seconds, and it STILL made a big mess!

We had tried everything to get the pipes unfrozen from space heaters to hair dryers, etc. Then all of a sudden, "PSSHHHHHHT!" "Ummmm Honey, what was that?" "OH SHIT HONEY! THAT IS A BURST PIPE! TURN OFF THE FUCKIN WATER! TURN OFF THE FUCKIN WATER!"

And of course, the faulty a/c unit, and the numerous cracks throughout the drywall all over the house. The cracks are understandable though, as that happens when a newly constructed home settles. I'm not going to nit-pick though, as I can honestly say we haven't had any really huge problems other than the frozen pipes and the a/c unit not working. However, some of the "trim" leaves much to be desired.

Oh damn, I forgot to include the CLK-GTR! I love that car!

Anyway, about beating it on the twisties....you mean nothing will beat it TWISTING. The CLK-GTR was banned from racing because going over hills they would go airborne and flip. But I'd still rock one.

Common misconception. That was the CLR, not the CLK.

And I'd put money on a 911GT1 beating a CLK-GTR.

much as i hate to admit, in road going form it probably would. however race cars and the one off homologation for the 98 le mans car would be a different story :D

Dreamn
it is my firm belief that life should begin and end in a Ferrari, the sexiest cars on the planet, :naughty:

Imagine actually driving a roadgoing GT1 though....

I'm pretty sure the GT1 won Le Mans, did the CLK?

Sia Bani
I like all cars. I wouldn't be able to make a list of the top ten I love..but I think I could make a list of the top 10 I'd hate to drive on a REGULAR BASIS:

1) a red pt cruiser. My aunt has one, so gay. Borrowed it one weekend. Seating position sucked tremendously...as if you're preparing to take it in the ass deep.
2) a convertible yellow new beetle. My dad's black one was pretty :ghey: too but not nearly as bad. Still fun since it was stick!
3)Angelyne's pink c5 vette
4)any retarded conversion we find on ebay. Recently saw a chevy blazer pt crusier conversion.
5) an old el camino. I just don't think I'd be able to pull off the look
6)any automatic porsche, ferrari, exotic supercar. I'd love the sound/look, but the frustration of it being auto would drive me insane. :banghead:
7)Ghetto bling lowrider style retarded offset wheels and MAJOR wheelgap old American beaters.
8)aztek. so ugly and so pointless (unless it's the concept with over 600bhp)
9) a buick. So dull I'd rather die.

and finally and exponentially more significant than any others I mentioned:

10) anything :rice:

CLK-GTR
Imagine actually driving a roadgoing GT1 though....

I'm pretty sure the GT1 won Le Mans, did the CLK?

no technical problems in the race, both gearboxes went if i recall. but in the GT Championship the GT1 and the F1's couldnt touch it. It was easily a faster car in CLK-GTR/LM guise.

If i could afford i might get a 996 GT1 over the road CLK, i just dont like it as much as i do the racer, but either way i cant wait for the day to come when i am able to choose.

SLKcruiser
Vettes have always been my favorite cars all around. incredible looks (even in the 70s and 80s when other cars were hideous), awesome performance, relatively inexpensive, and since the C5, the interiors much improved, its reliable, and gets better gas mileage then the nissan altima i used to have in high school. only thing i dont like about em is how common they get after 3-4 years of each model run.
