View Thread: blinking Caravan dash lights
I just replaced the a/c compressor in my '98 Caravan. Recharged system. Everything working fine. A few days later, the a/c button lights started blinking. System is working fine. I heard there was a sequence for resetting the lights. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Check the owners manual. If you don't find anything, you can reset the computer by disconnecting your battery for 1/2 an hour or so.
My sister has a 96 Dodge grand Caravan. The deal is when we helped her get it last fall the Air-Conditioning was very cold. She comes to use it yesterday when it was 90 degrees and it doesnt cool at all. The Dealership charged it up again but they cant find any leaks. I know there are known issues with these A/C units but my questions is is this a widespread problem? Also is it too soon with 62,000 miles on it for the starter to be going? I know about the Transmission problems. On that front so far so good.
